Mel Family Daycare combines home care with a unique learning experience. Each child receives the feeling of being in a warm and comforting home, while following a regular curriculum that encourages learning and development. Our goal is to prepare each child for their school years. We introduce them to Language Arts, Social Science, Science, Math and Dramatic Play during the course of their enrollment at Mel Family Daycare. We are sensitive to the needs of each child, and program our activities to each individual child’s developmental needs. We understnad each child is unique and requires his/her own unique care.
Mel Family Daycare has been accredited since 2001 (Lic. #197400976) and is owned and operated by Fanny “Cecy” Mel, CDA. We are staffed by three full time child care assistants and one part time child care assistant. We have a ratio of 1 to 4 (child care staff to children). We are also fluent in Spanish.

Hours:
We are open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We also offer extended care for late pick-up until 5:45 p.m. Additional fees apply. Please see our Forms Page for additional details.
